The Pit Pal is an all-inclusive BBQ app for your mobile device and is now available for iOS devices! It was built with the end goal of being able to help produce more consistent BBQ for backyard cooks, competitors, as well as caterers and restaurateurs.

The Pit Pal BBQ app enables more consistent BBQ through the use of historical tracking of cooks taking into account common BBQ variables such as the temperature and duration of the cook, or the sauce/rub combination, or even the type of wood used or the weather at the time of the cook. Tracking these variables allows the pit master to look back at previous cooks and continue to cook and tweak variables until the perfect combination is hit. And then have the data to replicate that combination at any time.

This is a technique that teams on the BBQ competition circuit have been using for years only with a pen & paper or manual spreadsheets. The intent of The Pit Pal is to take this technique, leverage technology to improve on it, and help people with a passion for BBQ produce great food.

This app is amazing. Very helpful in tracking and operating the CyberQ. Highly recommended.

Had this app before the cloud push. Now with the cloud I am able to leave the house and still be able to control my bbq guru. Great product and extremely easy to use! Does crash from time to time... Future updates I would like, fix crash issues and add a feature to add new meats after cook has started

I really like this app, even if you dont have a wifi guru it is the best bbq log i have seen, a must have

Some bad moments

Downloaded this free app and I still feel I paid too much. Not what I was looking for for sure

When it works, its pretty good. Most of the time however, it doesnt work. Crashes and is useless. Im done with it.

It doesnt connect to a stoker, doesnt read the stoker device, pit temps or food temps. Does have a web console which connects to the stoker device but the app doesnt communicate to the stoker. So it appears that all you do is manually enter your cook information which I could do simply in a spreadsheet.

This app is great. Really helps me manage my cooks. Cant wait till i get a cyberq to pair it with. Thanks for creating it :)

Just what I was looking for. I purchased the pro add on too. I love the charts and history.

BBQ remote is not worthwhile. Guru monitor is ok. This one is the best. The functionality of the alerts alone makes this better than the monitor. Do this one.
